D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" shoe soles are made of exceptionally thin rubber, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking. This preserves natural foot movements and ensures proper protection for the foot. The wide base of the shoes doesn't restrict the foot, allowing the child's foot bones and tendons to grow and develop unhindered. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design of the footwear provides foot protection and is exceptionally flexible, allowing the child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there are no problems with pain, muscles, or skeletal systems, children's feet can and should develop without hindrance. Wearing Barefoot shoes allows this process to occur, mimicking the effect of bare feet: providing protection without altering natural foot movement. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, like barefoot models.
The sole and insole of Barefoot shoes are completely flat.
To ensure cleanliness inside the shoe, the insole can be removed, making it washable or dryable. The insoles are made of natural leather.
The shoes are made from high-quality and carefully selected upper leather. To ensure natural contact with the foot, the inside of the shoe is made of soft leather. High-quality leather allows the foot to breathe, making the shoes durable and comfortable.
A special toe design protects the shoes from scuffs.
Light, flexible, non-slip, and durable rubber sole.
3D stitching technology reduces the use of adhesives and other chemicals.
The upper leather must be regularly maintained. Water-repellent sprays, leather waxes, and oils for surface leather are suitable for protection.
