D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" shoe soles are made of exceptionally thin rubber, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking, preserving natural foot movements, and providing adequate foot protection. The wide base of the shoes does not compress the foot, allowing the child's foot bones and tendons to grow and develop unrestrictedly. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design of the footwear ensures foot protection and is exceptionally flexible, allowing the child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there is no pain, muscle, or bone system problems, children's feet can and should develop without hindrance. Wearing barefoot shoes allows this process to occur, imitating the effect of bare feet: protection is provided, but the natural foot movement is not altered. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, like barefoot model shoes.
The sole and insole of barefoot shoes are completely flat.
The shoes are made of high-quality and carefully selected upper leather. To ensure natural contact with the foot, the inside of the shoe is made of soft leather.

3D stitching technology reduces the use of glues and other chemicals.
The upper leather should be regularly cared for using shoe care products designed for surface leather.
