D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" shoes feature an exceptionally thin rubber sole, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking. This preserves natural foot movements and provides adequate protection for the foot. The wide shoe base does not compress the foot, allowing the child's foot bones and ligaments to grow and develop unrestrictedly. This is particularly important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design of the footwear ensures foot protection and is exceptionally flexible, allowing the child's foot ligaments and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there is no pain or problems with muscle or skeletal systems, children's feet can and should develop without hindrance. Wearing barefoot shoes allows this process to occur, simulating the effect of bare feet: providing protection without changing the natural movement of the foot. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, such as barefoot model shoes.
The sole and insole of the barefoot model shoes are completely flat.
The shoes are made from high-quality and carefully selected upper leather. To ensure natural contact with the foot, the inside of the shoe is made of soft leather.

The upper leather must be regularly maintained, using shoe care products designed for surface leather.
