D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" shoes have a sole made of exceptionally thin rubber, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking, maintaining natural foot movements, and providing adequate foot protection. The wide base of the shoes does not compress the foot, allowing the child's foot bones and tendons to grow and develop unhindered. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design of the footwear ensures foot protection and is exceptionally flexible, allowing the child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there are no problems with pain, muscles, or skeletal systems, children's feet can and should develop without hindrance. Wearing Barefoot shoes allows this process to occur by mimicking the effect of bare feet: protection is provided, but the natural movement of the foot is not altered. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, like barefoot models.
The sole and insole of Barefoot model shoes are completely flat.
To ensure cleanliness inside the shoe, the insole can be removed, allowing it to be washed or dried. The insoles are made of natural leather.
The shoes are made of high-quality and carefully selected upper leather. To ensure natural contact with the foot, the inside of the shoe is made of soft leather. High-quality leather allows the foot to breathe, and the shoes are durable and comfortable.
A special toe design protects the shoes from bumps and scrapes.
Lightweight, flexible, non-slip, and durable rubber sole.
3D stitching technology reduces the use of glues and other chemicals.
The upper leather should be regularly cared for. Water-repellent sprays, leather waxes, and creams suitable for surface leather are recommended for protection.
