D.D.Step BAREFOOT shoes feature an exceptionally thin rubber sole, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking. This maintains natural foot movement and provides adequate protection. The wide base of the shoes doesn't compress the foot, allowing the child's foot bones and tendons to grow and develop unhindered. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design of the footwear ensures foot protection and is extremely flexible, allowing the child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there is no pain or problems with the musculoskeletal system, children's feet can and should develop without hindrance. Wearing Barefoot shoes allows this process to occur, mimicking the effect of bare feet: providing protection without changing the natural movement of the foot. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, like barefoot models.
Barefoot model shoes have a completely flat sole and insole.
To ensure cleanliness inside the shoe, the insole can be removed for washing or drying. Insoles are made of natural leather.
The shoes are made of high-quality and carefully selected upper leather. To ensure natural contact with the foot, the inside of the shoe is made of soft leather. High-quality leather allows the foot to breathe, making the shoes durable and comfortable.
The specially designed toe protects the shoes from scuffing.
