D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" shoe sole is made of extremely thin rubber, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking, maintaining natural foot movements, and providing proper foot protection. The wide base of the shoes does not compress the foot, allowing the child's foot bones and tendons to grow and develop unhindered. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design footwear provides foot protection and is extremely flexible, allowing the child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there is no pain or muscle and skeletal system problems, children's feet can and should develop without hindrance. Wearing barefoot shoes allows this process to occur, simulating the effect of bare feet: providing protection but not altering the natural movement of the foot. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, like barefoot model shoes.
The sole and insole of the barefoot model shoes are completely flat.
The shoes are made of high-quality and carefully selected upper leather. To ensure natural contact with the foot, the inside of the shoe is made of soft leather.
Lightweight, flexible, non-slip and durable rubber sole.
3D stitching technology reduces the use of adhesives and other chemicals.
The upper leather must be regularly maintained, using shoe care products designed for surface leather.
