D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" shoe sole is made of extremely thin rubber, so children can feel the ground while running and walking, natural foot movements are maintained and proper foot protection is ensured. The wide base of the shoes does not press the foot, so the child's foot bones and tendons can grow and develop freely. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design footwear provides foot protection and is extremely flexible, so the child's foot tendons and muscles can stretch and contract freely.
As long as there is no pain, muscle, or skeletal system problems, children's feet can and should develop unhindered. Wearing barefoot shoes allows this process to happen, mimicking the effect of bare feet: providing protection but not changing the natural foot movement. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, such as barefoot model shoes.
The sole and insole of the barefoot model shoes are completely flat.
To ensure cleanliness inside the shoe, the insole can be removed, so it can be washed or dried. The insoles are made of natural leather.
The shoes are made of high-quality and carefully selected upper leather. To ensure natural contact with the foot, the inside of the shoe is made of soft leather. High-quality leather allows the foot to breathe, the shoes are durable and comfortable.
A special front design of the shoes protects them from bumps.

3D stitching technology reduces the use of glue and other chemicals.
The upper leather must be regularly maintained. Sprays protecting from moisture, leather waxes and creams for surface leather are suitable for protection.
