BAREFOOT shoes have an extra-thin rubber sole, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking, preserving natural foot movements, and ensuring proper foot protection. The wide base of the shoes does not compress the foot, allowing the child's foot bones and tendons to grow and develop unhindered. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design footwear ensures foot protection and is exceptionally flexible, allowing the child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there is no pain, muscle, or bone system problems, children's feet can and should develop without hindrance. Wearing barefoot shoes allows this process to occur, mimicking the effect of bare feet: providing protection without altering natural foot movement. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, like barefoot model shoes.
The sole and insole of Barefoot model shoes are completely flat.
The footwear is treated with a special water-repellent material that forms a protective layer on the leather upper of the shoe, causing water droplets to roll off the surface of the shoe, so the shoes do not get soaked even for a long time (D.D. Tex technology).
D.D.Step's 3D stitching technology reduces the use of adhesives and chemicals.
The footwear sole is made of natural rubber. The sole at the toe, with reinforced toe protection, is resistant to physical impact and is non-slip. The shoes are light and flexible, allowing for natural movement.
The high-quality upper leather allows the foot to breathe, making the shoes durable and comfortable.
The upper leather must be regularly maintained. Sprays that protect against moisture, leather waxes, and creams designed for surface leather are suitable for protection.
