D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" shoes feature an exceptionally thin rubber sole, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking, preserving natural foot movements and providing adequate foot protection. The wide base of the shoes doesn't constrict the foot, enabling unhindered growth and development of a child's foot bones and tendons. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design of the footwear ensures foot protection and is exceptionally flexible, allowing the child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there is no pain or muscle/bone system problems, children's feet can and should develop without hindrance. Wearing barefoot shoes allows this process to occur by mimicking the effect of bare feet: providing protection without altering natural foot movement. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, like barefoot model shoes.
The sole and insole of barefoot model shoes are completely flat.
To ensure cleanliness inside the shoe, the insole can be removed, making it washable or dryable. The insoles are made of natural leather.
The shoes are made from high-quality and carefully selected upper leather. To ensure natural contact with the foot, the inside of the shoe is made of soft leather. High-quality leather allows the foot to breathe, making the shoes durable and comfortable.
The specially designed toe of the shoes protects them from bumps.

The upper leather should be regularly maintained. Water-repellent sprays, leather waxes, and creams designed for surface leather are suitable for protection.
The outer sole is made of RUBBER and SUGARCANE. This is an excellent combination of natural materials. The manufacturer, aiming for sustainability, finds a new way to utilize natural materials. It is a completely renewable resource that grows quickly, removing carbon from the atmosphere.
