D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" shoe soles are made of exceptionally thin rubber, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking. This preserves natural foot movements and provides appropriate protection for the foot. The wide base of the shoes does not compress the foot, allowing the child's foot bones and tendons to grow and develop unhindered. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design footwear ensures foot protection and is exceptionally flexible, allowing the child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there is no pain, muscle, or skeletal system problems, children's feet can and should develop without hindrance. Wearing Barefoot shoes allows this process to occur, mimicking the effect of bare feet: providing protection without altering the natural movement of the foot. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, like barefoot model shoes.
The sole and insole of Barefoot model shoes are completely flat.
To ensure cleanliness inside the shoe, the insole can be removed, allowing it to be washed or dried. The insoles are made of natural leather.
The shoes are made of high-quality and carefully selected upper leather. To ensure natural contact with the foot, the inside of the shoe is made of soft leather. High-quality leather allows the foot to breathe, and the shoes are durable and comfortable.
A special toe design protects the shoes from scuffing.
Lightweight, flexible, non-slip, and durable rubber sole.
3D stitching technology reduces the use of glue and other chemicals.
The upper leather must be regularly maintained. Sprays protecting against moisture, leather waxes, and creams designed for surface leather are suitable for protection.
