D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" shoes feature an exceptionally thin rubber sole, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking, preserving natural foot movement and providing adequate protection. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design of the footwear ensures foot protection and is exceptionally flexible, allowing the child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there is no pain, muscle, or bone system problems, children's feet can and should develop without hindrance. Wearing Barefoot shoes allows this process to occur by mimicking the effect of bare feet: protection is provided, but the natural movement of the foot is not altered. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, like barefoot models.
The sole and insole of Barefoot shoes are completely flat.
To ensure cleanliness inside the shoe, the insole can be removed for washing or drying. The insoles are made of natural leather.
The shoes are made from high-quality and carefully selected upper leather. To ensure natural contact with the foot, the inside of the shoe is made of soft leather. High-quality leather allows the foot to breathe, making the shoes durable and comfortable.
The special design of the shoe's front protects the shoes from impact.

3D stitching technology reduces the use of adhesives and other chemicals.
The upper leather should be regularly maintained. Sprays protecting against moisture, leather waxes, and oils for surface leather are suitable for protection.
