The sole of D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" shoes is made of extremely thin rubber, which allows children to feel the ground while running and walking, maintains natural foot movements, and ensures adequate foot protection. The wide base of the shoes does not compress the foot, allowing the child's foot bones and tendons to grow and develop unhindered. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design footwear provides foot protection and is extremely flexible, allowing the child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there is no pain, muscle or skeletal problems, children's feet can and should develop without hindrance. Wearing Barefoot shoes allows this process to happen, imitating the effect of bare feet: providing protection but not changing the natural movement of the foot. For this, the shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, such as barefoot model shoes.
The sole and insole of Barefoot shoes are completely flat.
To ensure cleanliness inside the shoe, the insole can be removed, so it can be washed or dried.
The shoes are made of high-quality and carefully selected wool. To ensure natural contact with the foot, the inside of the shoe is made of soft leather. High-quality leather allows the foot to breathe, the shoes are durable and comfortable.
A special toe design protects the shoes from bumps.
