The wide base of the shoes does not compress the foot, allowing the child's foot bones and tendons to grow and develop unhindered. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design footwear ensures foot protection and is extremely flexible, allowing the child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there is no pain or problems with muscle or bone systems, children's feet can and should develop unhindered. Wearing Barefoot shoes allows this process to occur by mimicking the effect of bare feet: providing protection without changing the natural foot movement. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped and completely flat, like barefoot model shoes.
The sole and insole of Barefoot model shoes are completely flat.
To ensure cleanliness inside the shoe, the insole can be removed, allowing it to be washed or dried. Insoles are made of natural leather.
