The sole of D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" shoes is made of extremely thin rubber, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking, maintaining natural foot movements, and providing adequate foot protection. The wide base of the shoes does not constrict the foot, allowing the child's foot bones and tendons to grow and develop unhindered. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design of the footwear ensures foot protection and is extremely flexible, allowing the child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there is no pain, muscle or skeletal system problems, children's feet can and should develop unhindered. Wearing Barefoot shoes allows this process to occur, mimicking the effect of bare feet: providing protection but not altering the natural movement of the foot. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, such as barefoot model shoes.
The sole and insole of the Barefoot model shoes are completely flat.
To ensure cleanliness inside the shoe, the insole is removable, so it can be washed or dried. Insoles are made of natural leather.
The shoes are made of high-quality and carefully selected upper leather. To ensure natural contact with the foot, the inside of the shoe is made of soft leather. High-quality leather allows the foot to breathe, making the shoes durable and comfortable.
The specially designed toe of the shoe protects against scuffing.
Lightweight, flexible, non-slip, and durable rubber sole.
3D stitching technology reduces the use of adhesives and other chemicals.
The upper leather must be regularly maintained. Water-repellent sprays, leather waxes, and creams designed for surface leather are suitable for protection.
