D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" shoe soles are made of exceptionally thin rubber, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking, preserving natural foot movements, and ensuring adequate foot protection. The wide base of the shoes doesn't restrict the foot, allowing the child's foot bones and tendons to grow and develop unhindered. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design of the footwear provides foot protection and is exceptionally flexible, allowing the child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there is no pain, or muscular or skeletal problems, children's feet can and should develop without hindrance. Wearing Barefoot shoes allows this process to occur by mimicking the effect of bare feet: providing protection without altering the natural movement of the foot. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, like barefoot model shoes.
Barefoot model shoe soles and insoles are completely flat.
To ensure cleanliness inside the shoe, the insole can be removed, making it washable or dryable. The insoles are made of natural leather.
The shoes are made of high-quality and carefully selected upper leather. To ensure natural contact with the foot, the inside of the shoe is made of soft leather. High-quality leather allows the foot to breathe, and the shoes are durable and comfortable.
A special design of the shoe front protects the shoes from scuffing.

3D stitching technology reduces the use of glue and other chemicals.
The upper leather needs to be regularly maintained. Sprays that protect against moisture, leather waxes, and creams designed for surface leather are suitable for protection.
The outsole is made of RUBBER and SUGARCANE. This is an excellent combination of natural materials. The manufacturer, aiming for sustainability, finds new ways to utilize natural materials. This is a completely renewable resource that grows quickly, removing carbon from the atmosphere.
