D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" shoe soles are made of extremely thin rubber, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking. Natural foot movements are maintained, and proper protection is ensured for the foot. The wide shoe base does not compress the foot, allowing the child's foot bones and tendons to grow and develop unhindered. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design footwear provides foot protection and is extremely flexible, allowing the child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there is no pain, muscle or skeletal problems, children's feet can and should develop without hindrance. Wearing barefoot shoes allows this process to occur by mimicking the effect of bare feet: providing protection without altering the foot's natural movement. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, just like barefoot model shoes.
The sole and insole of the barefoot model shoes are completely flat.
To ensure cleanliness inside the shoe, the insole can be removed, allowing it to be washed or dried. The insoles are made of natural leather.
The shoes are made of high-quality and carefully selected upper leather. To ensure natural contact with the foot, the inside of the shoe is made of soft leather. High-quality leather allows the foot to breathe, making the shoes durable and comfortable.
The special toe design protects the shoes from impact.

3D stitching technology reduces the use of glues and other chemicals.
The upper leather must be regularly maintained. Water-repellent sprays, leather waxes, and creams designed for surface leather are suitable for protection.
