D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" textile shoes have an exceptionally thin rubber sole, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking, maintaining natural foot movements, and providing adequate protection for the foot. The wide base of the shoes does not compress the foot, allowing the child's foot bones and tendons to grow and develop unhindered. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design of the footwear ensures foot protection and is exceptionally flexible, allowing the child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there is no pain or problems with the musculoskeletal system, children's feet can and should develop without hindrance. Wearing barefoot shoes allows this process to occur, mimicking the effect of bare feet: providing protection without altering the natural movement of the foot. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, like barefoot models.
Barefoot shoes have a completely flat sole and insole.
To ensure cleanliness inside the shoe, the insole can be removed for washing or drying.
