D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" fabric shoes have an extremely thin rubber sole, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking, maintaining natural foot movements and providing adequate protection for the foot. The wide base of the shoes does not compress the foot, allowing the child's foot bones and tendons to grow and develop unhindered. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design footwear provides foot protection and is extremely flexible, allowing the child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract unhindered.
As long as there is no pain, muscle or bone system problems, children's feet can and should develop without hindrance. Wearing barefoot shoes allows this process to happen, mimicking the effect of bare feet: providing protection but not changing the natural movement of the foot. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, like barefoot model shoes.

To ensure cleanliness inside the shoe, the insole can be removed, so it can be washed or dried.
