D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" fabric shoes have a sole made of exceptionally thin rubber, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking. This preserves natural foot movements and provides proper foot protection. The wide base of the shoes does not compress the foot, allowing the child's foot bones and tendons to grow and develop unhindered. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design footwear provides foot protection and is exceptionally flexible, allowing the child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there is no pain, muscle, or bone system problems, children's feet can and should develop without hindrance. Wearing Barefoot shoes allows this process to occur, imitating the effect of bare feet: protection is provided, but the natural movement of the foot is not changed. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, like barefoot model shoes.
The sole and insole of Barefoot model shoes are completely flat.
To ensure cleanliness inside the shoe, the insole can be removed, allowing it to be washed or dried.
