D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" shoes feature an exceptionally thin rubber sole, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking, preserving natural foot movement, and providing adequate protection for the foot. The wide base of the shoes doesn't compress the foot, allowing the child's foot bones and tendons to grow and develop unrestrictedly. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design of the footwear ensures foot protection and is exceptionally flexible, allowing the child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there are no pain, muscle, or skeletal system problems, children's feet can and should develop without hindrance. Wearing barefoot shoes allows this process to occur, imitating the effect of bare feet: providing protection without altering the foot's natural movement. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, like barefoot model shoes.
The sole and insole of barefoot model shoes are completely flat.
The shoes are made of high-quality and carefully selected upper leather. To ensure natural contact with the foot, the inside of the shoe is made of soft leather.
