D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" shoes feature an exceptionally thin rubber sole, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking, maintaining natural foot movements, and providing adequate protection for the foot. The wide base of the shoes does not compress the foot, allowing the child's foot bones and tendons to grow and develop unrestrictedly. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design of the footwear ensures foot protection and is exceptionally flexible, allowing the child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there is no pain or problems with muscle or bone systems, children's feet can and should develop without hindrance. Wearing Barefoot shoes allows this process to occur by mimicking the effect of bare feet: providing protection without altering the natural movement of the foot. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, like barefoot models.
Barefoot model shoes have completely flat soles and insoles.
To ensure cleanliness inside the shoe, the insole can be removed for washing or drying. Insoles are made of natural leather.
The shoes are made of high-quality and carefully selected upper leather. To ensure natural contact with the foot, the inside of the shoe is made of soft leather. High-quality leather allows the foot to breathe, and the shoes are durable and comfortable.
A specially designed toe cap protects the shoes from scuffing.

3D stitching technology reduces the use of glues and other chemicals.
The upper leather must be regularly maintained. Sprays that protect against moisture, leather waxes, and creams designed for surface leather are suitable for protection.
The outsole is made from RUBBER and SUGARCANE. This is an excellent combination of natural materials. The manufacturer, aiming for sustainability, finds new ways to use natural materials. This is a completely renewable resource that grows quickly, removing carbon from the atmosphere.
