D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" shoes feature an exceptionally thin rubber sole, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking, preserving natural foot movement and providing adequate protection for the foot. The wide base of the shoes doesn't compress the foot, allowing the child's foot bones and tendons to grow and develop unrestrictedly. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design of the footwear ensures foot protection and is exceptionally flexible, allowing the child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there is no pain or problems with the muscular or skeletal systems, children's feet can and should develop without obstruction. Wearing Barefoot shoes allows this process to occur, mimicking the effect of bare feet: providing protection without altering natural foot movement. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, like barefoot models.
The sole and insole of Barefoot shoes are completely flat.
To ensure cleanliness inside the shoe, the insole can be removed for washing or drying. Insoles are made of natural leather.
The shoes are made from high-quality and carefully selected upper leather. To ensure natural contact with the foot, the inside of the shoe is made of soft leather. High-quality leather allows the foot to breathe, making the shoes durable and comfortable.
A special toe design protects the shoes from bumps and scuffs.
Lightweight, flexible, non-slip, and durable rubber sole.
3D stitching technology reduces the use of glues and other chemicals.
The upper leather must be regularly maintained. Moisture-protecting sprays, leather waxes, and creams designed for surface leather are suitable for protection.
