D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" shoes have an exceptionally thin rubber sole, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking, preserving natural foot movements, and providing adequate foot protection. The wide base of the shoes doesn't constrict the foot, allowing a child's foot bones and tendons to grow and develop unhindered. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. Minimalist footwear ensures foot protection and is exceptionally flexible, allowing a child's foot tendons and muscles to stretch and contract freely.
As long as there is no pain, or muscle or bone system problems, children's feet can and should develop without hindrance. Wearing Barefoot shoes allows this process to occur, mimicking the effect of bare feet: providing protection without altering natural foot movement. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped, and completely flat, like barefoot model shoes.
The sole and insole of Barefoot model shoes are completely flat.
To ensure cleanliness inside the shoe, the insole can be removed, allowing it to be washed or dried. The insoles are made of natural leather.
The shoes are made from high-quality and carefully selected upper leather. To ensure natural contact with the foot, the inside of the shoe is made of soft leather. High-quality leather allows the foot to breathe, and the shoes are durable and comfortable.
A special toe design protects the shoes from scuffing.
Lightweight, flexible, non-slip, and durable rubber sole.
3D stitching technology reduces the use of glues and other chemicals.
The upper leather must be regularly maintained. Sprays that protect against moisture, leather waxes, and creams designed for surface leather are suitable for protection.
