The sole of D.D.Step "BAREFOOT" fabric shoes is made of extremely thin rubber, allowing children to feel the ground while running and walking, maintaining natural foot movements and ensuring proper protection for the foot. The wide shoe base does not compress the foot, allowing the child's foot bones and tendons to grow and develop unhindered. This is especially important for the toes, as they are responsible for balance and proper motor skills. The minimalist design footwear provides foot protection and is extremely flexible, so the child's foot tendons and muscles can stretch and contract freely.
As long as there is no pain, muscle or bone system problems, children's feet can and should develop without hindrance. Wearing Barefoot shoes allows this process to occur, imitating the effect of bare feet: providing protection but not altering the natural movement of the foot. For this, shoes must be thin, flexible, foot-shaped and completely flat, like barefoot model shoes.
The sole and insole of Barefoot shoes are completely flat.
To ensure cleanliness inside the shoe, the insole can be removed, allowing it to be washed or dried.
